The Reclaim Energy CO2 Heat Pump Hot Water System consists of a heat pump (compressor) and a storage tank (stainless steel or glass-lined).

A Reclaim Energy CO2 Heat Pump Hot Water System is made up of a heat pump (compressor) and storage tank (stainless steel or glass-lined). The system uses leading technology to draw energy in from the surrounding air and transfer it into heat, via an ozone friendly pressurised refrigerant (CO2).

The has an average COP of 5, meaning for every 1 kW of electric input, it generates about 5 kW thermal output. This is about 80% less energy when compared to traditional electric element hot water systems. The CO2 Heat Pump has excellent cold weather performance characteristics, negating the need for a boosting element to supplement heating for the unit.

The Reclaim Energy CO2 Heat Pump Hot Water System consists of a heat pump (compressor) and a storage tank (stainless steel or glass-lined). Heat is collected from the surrounding air through the system’s heat exchange and used as energy to heat up an ozone-friendly CO2 pressurised refrigerant. The unit can supply over five units of heat energy from ambient air for each unit of electricity it consumes. This minimises the cost of energy used to produce hot water. The CO2 Heat Pump has excellent cold weather performance characteristics, negating the need for a boosting element to supplement heating for the unit.

Sanden heat pumps absorb heat from the surrounding atmosphere and convert it into hot water.
